Step-by-Step Timeline

Step 1

Site Preparation & Setting Out

Site is cleared and levelled. Setting out confirms exact position, levels, and orientation of the A-frame structure.

Step 2

Substructure & Foundation Works

Excavation, hardcore compaction, anti-termite treatment, damp proof membrane, reinforcement, concrete footings/slab, and anchor bolt positioning.

Step 3

Fabrication & Erection of Steel Frame

Structural members are fabricated, erected, aligned, bolted, welded, primed, and protected against rust.

Step 4

Floor Construction

Steel floor joists or slab construction is completed, then insulation, screed, and floor finishes are installed.

Step 5

Roof Structure & External Cladding

Steel purlins and battens are fixed; roofing sheets, membranes, insulation, and wall cladding are installed.

Step 6

Roofing Accessories & Rainwater Management

Flashings, ridge caps, fascias, barge boards, gutters, and downpipes are installed.

Step 7

Thermal & Acoustic Insulation

Insulation materials are installed in roof and wall cavities for comfort and energy efficiency.

Step 8

Internal Partitioning & Ceilings

Light gauge studs, gypsum/cement boards, and rhino ceiling boards with insulation/access panels are installed.

Step 9

Windows, Doors & Glazing

Aluminium windows/doors, glazing, and hardware are installed; openings are sealed for weather tightness.

Step 10

Plumbing Installations

Water supply and drainage pipework is installed/tested; sanitary fittings, kitchen plumbing, and water heating are fixed.

Step 11

Electrical Installations

Conduits and wiring are installed; boards, switches, sockets, and lighting points are completed to safety standards.

Step 12

Internal Finishes

Wall/floor tiling, plastering or skimming, and kitchen cabinets/joinery are completed.

Step 13

Painting & Final Finishes

Internal/external priming and painting are completed; final fixtures, fittings, and lighting are installed.

Step 14

Final Inspection & Handover

Full inspection, service testing, defect rectification, cleaning, and client handover.
