Phase 1
Step 1 - Step 2Site preparation, setting out, and complete foundation works.
2 execution step(s) in this phase.
Step 1
The site is cleared and levelled according to approved drawings. Setting out is done to establish the exact position, levels, and orientation of the A-frame structure.
Step 2
Excavation is carried out to required depths. Hardcore is placed and compacted, followed by anti-termite treatment and damp proof membrane installation. Reinforcement steel is fixed and concrete is poured to form footings and slab. Anchor bolts are accurately positioned to receive the steel frame.
Phase 2
Step 3 - Step 6Steel frame, envelope, insulation, and external/internal shell.
7 execution step(s) in this phase.
Step 3
Structural steel members are fabricated according to engineering specifications. The A-frame steel structure is erected, aligned, bolted, and welded. All steel members are treated with anti-rust primer and protective coatings.
Step 4
Steel floor joists or slab construction is completed depending on design. Floor insulation is installed where required, followed by screed and final floor finishes such as tiles.
Step 5
Steel purlins and battens are fixed to the main frame. Roofing sheets are installed together with waterproof membranes and insulation layers. External wall cladding is fixed to complete the building envelope.
Step 6
All roof flashings, ridge caps, fascias, and barge boards are installed. Rain gutters and downpipes are fixed to ensure effective rainwater collection and discharge.
Phase 2 (continued)
Step 7 - Step 9Step 7
Thermal and acoustic insulation materials are installed within roof and wall cavities to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
Step 8
Light gauge steel studs are installed for internal walls. Gypsum boards and cement boards (in wet areas) are fixed. Rhino ceiling boards are installed together with insulation and access panels.
Step 9
Aluminium windows and doors are installed, including glazing and hardware. All openings are sealed to ensure weather tightness.
Phase 3
Step 10 - Step 11Plumbing and electrical installation to safety and quality standards.
2 execution step(s) in this phase.
Step 10
Water supply and drainage pipework is installed and tested. Sanitary fittings, kitchen plumbing, and water heating systems are fixed.
Step 11
Electrical conduits and wiring are installed, followed by distribution boards, switches, sockets, and lighting points. All works comply with safety standards.
Phase 4
Step 12 - Step 14Final finishes, quality control, and client handover.
3 execution step(s) in this phase.
Step 12
Wall and floor tiling is completed in wet areas. Plastering or skimming is done where required. Kitchen cabinets and joinery are installed.
Step 13
All internal and external surfaces are primed and painted. Final fixtures, fittings, and lighting are installed.
Step 14
The structure is inspected, services tested, and defects rectified. The completed A-frame cabin is cleaned and handed over to the client.
